No hay snapshot todavía de la 1.13 pero ya se saben algunas cosas. Han dicho que la 1.13 será una actualización sobre todo técnica, por lo que no esperéis nuevos mobs, bloques o cosas así.


Lo principal es que están cambiando todas las texturas excepto las más nuevas como la terracota de dibujitos.

Existirán los Data Packs, que serán como los resource packs pero para mundos y servidores incluyendo las loot tables (que indican los drops y su probabilidad), los progresos/logros, funciones, estructuras... (Sí, se pueden crear logros y estructuras personalizadas, además las funciones son comandos personalizados).


El cambio más esperado es que las IDs numéricas desaparecerán para siempre. Es un cambio planeado para la 1.13 aunque no hay noticia de que se haya finalizado. De esta manera ya no se podrá hacer por ejemplo /give robertoccu 1, sino que se tendrá que poner /give robertoccu minecraft:stone. Gracias a ello se podrán tener muchos más tipos de bloques en el juego y por tanto pueden añadir todos los bloques que les plazca (hasta ahora solo 256 y ya se ha alcanzado ese límite con las camas de colores).

También dejará de existir el valor "Damage" en los comandos. Antes para conseguir lana blanca era /give robertoccu wool 1, porque 1 era el naranja. Ahora cada bloque tendrá su propia ID, por lo que la lana naranja será /give robertoccu orange_wool. Sí, esto significa que, si quieren, pueden ampliar a más de 16 colores por bloque.

Algunos bloques eran entidades, como las cabezas de mobs, las macetas o los bloques musicales. Ahora pasarán a ser bloques, excepto las cabezas de jugadores.

Cambiarán los comandos, ahora mostrará donde ha habido un error si los escribes mal. En los comandos se podrá incluir condiciones por NBT (si un caballo tiene una silla de montar, si un zombie se llama fulanito, etc...)

Con estos cambios, al querer especificar un bloque puede usarse esta sintaxis:

stone -> Para la piedra normal
minecraft:redstone_wire[power=15,north=up,south=down] -> Para redstone, con potencia 15 y con dirección específica.
minecraft:jukebox{RecordItem:{...}} -> Para una jukebox con el disco especificado
minecraft:furnace[facing=north]{BurnTime:200} -> Para un horno que mire al norte y además esté encendida

Entre [] se pondrán los estados y entre {} los NBT.

Con esto cambian los siguientes comandos:

/at <entity> <command> (que ejcuta <command> usando la posición de <entity>)
/offset <x y z> <command> (que ejecuta <command> en la posición <x y z>)
/detect <x y z> <block> <command> (que ejecuta <command> si en <x y z> hay un <block>)

A la hora de detectar cosas (@p, @a, @e, @r y @s), las coordenadas aceptan decimales y x=0 ya no llevará a x=0.5 (el centro del bloque), sino que habrá que poner x=0.5
